Every project starts with the job the software has to do and the people who will use it. The technology comes second, and we will always tell you when something off the shelf would serve you better.

You own the software. All of it.
The biggest risk in commissioning software is not the build. It is being stuck with a supplier you cannot leave. So we take that risk off the table in the contract.
Your repository from day one
Code is pushed to a GitHub or Azure DevOps account your company owns. You can see every change we make, as we make it.
IP assigned to you
Copyright in everything we write for you transfers to your company. No licence fees, no clauses that let us resell your system.
Hosting in your name
AWS, Azure or Google Cloud accounts are opened in your name, in UK or EU regions. We are invited in, not the other way round.
Documented to hand over
Architecture notes, setup guides and tests come with the code, so another competent team could pick it up without us.
A 16 week build, week by week
This is the shape of a typical internal system or portal. You see working software on a test link from week five, and you can change priorities at the end of every sprint.
Software for the way your sector works
Off-the-shelf software is built for the average firm in your sector. We build for yours, around the systems you already run and the rules you already follow.

Questions businesses ask before they commission software
What does a bespoke software development company do?
We design, build and look after software made for one business: the systems your team works in every day, the portals your customers log into, the apps your engineers carry and the integrations that stop people retyping data. Fixology handles the whole journey, from workshops and specification to design, build, testing, launch and support.
Why choose Fixology over another software company?
Three reasons clients give us. Senior UK developers lead every project, so the people on your first call are the people building your software. You see working software on a test link every two weeks, not slides. And everything we build belongs to you: the code, the IP, the repository and the hosting are in your company name from day one.
Who owns the code and intellectual property?
You do. Copyright in everything we write for you is assigned to your company in the contract, the code lives in a repository you own from the first day, and the hosting accounts are in your name. If you ever want another team to take it on, it is documented well enough for them to pick it up.
How long does it take to build custom software?
An integration takes four to eight weeks, a first product release six to twelve, and most internal systems or portals ten to sixteen. Large replacements of legacy systems take four to nine months, usually delivered in stages so your team starts using parts of it early. You see working software from the first sprint.
How do you keep a project on track?
Every project starts with discovery: workshops with your team, a clickable prototype and a written specification everyone signs off. Then we build in two week sprints with a live demo at the end of each one, a written update every Friday, and one accountable lead you can call directly.
What happens after launch?
We stay on as long as you want us. Support covers hosting, monitoring, security updates, fixes and ongoing improvements, with response times in writing. You are never locked in: because you own the code and the hosting, you can move support to anyone at any time.
Can you take over a project another agency started?
Yes. Rescues are a large part of what we do. We start with a code and architecture audit that tells you what is solid, what is risky and what it will take to finish. Then you decide whether we fix it, finish it or rebuild the parts that cannot be saved.
Do you work with businesses outside London?
We work with businesses across the UK, from London and Manchester to Glasgow and Bristol. Day to day we work over video calls and a shared channel, and we come to you for the discovery workshops, user testing and launch days where being in the room matters.
Tell us what you want to build
A senior developer reads every brief, not a sales team. You will get a reply within one working day with a first view on approach and timeline, and an NDA if you need one before sharing details.
